What Do We Inspect?

We carry out inspections on nearly all types of measurement installations:

  • Indirect and low-voltage meters (for large consumers)

  • Directly connected electricity meters (e.g., in homes or small businesses)

  • Complete measurement installations

Legal Requirement for Large Consumers

According to the Electricity Measurement Code, electricity meters including the measurement installation must be inspected for accuracy every 6 years.
CIJ Borculo has been performing these inspections for many years on behalf of certified measurement companies.

Pool Inspections for Small Consumers

For various grid operators in the Netherlands, we have been carrying out pool inspections for small-consumption electricity meters for many years.
