Measuring with Certainty!
This is what we do for you in the field of calibration:
Electrical Measuring and Testing Equipment
CIJ Borculo is the expert in measuring and testing electrical equipment. We calibrate multimeters, current clamps, installation testers, and much more.
Temperature and Humidity
We calibrate analog and digital thermometers and data loggers to ensure you always have reliable measurements of your environmental conditions.
Pressure
With our services, you don’t have to worry about pressure. We calibrate absolute, relative, and vacuum measuring instruments.
High Voltage
With our calibration setup, we simulate realistic conditions to calibrate single-pole and double-pole voltage testers as well as phase comparison equipment.
Force
We calibrate torque wrenches, crimping tools, and compression tools. Our goal is to ensure you can fully rely on the performance of your instruments.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Quality and safety are second nature to us. That’s why your PPE is in good hands with us. We inspect fall protection, lifting and hoisting equipment, ladders, steps, and LEL meters.
Gas Detection
Working with calibrated gas detection equipment keeps you safe. Whether you work with natural gas, refrigerants, or other substances, we ensure your equipment functions properly.
Geometry
With our geometric calibration services, you can rely on accurate distance measurements. We calibrate both distance meters and self-leveling rotating lasers.
Frequently Asked Questions about Measuring Instruments
Why should I have my measuring instruments calibrated?
Calibrating an instrument provides certainty; your instrument is traceable to national standards. In fact, if your company holds a quality certification such as BRL100, RvA, STEK, SCIOS, or KOMO, you are required to have your instruments calibrated periodically.
Timely calibration can prevent a lot of unnecessary work. As a certified company, you must take appropriate measures for all products that may have been affected by inaccurate measurements. The sooner a deviation is detected, the better.
What is the difference between calibration, inspection, and verification?
The terms calibration, inspection, and verification are often a source of confusion.
Calibration is the determination of the deviation of a measuring instrument by comparing it with the applicable measurement standards. During a calibration, it is also possible to check the instrument against the manufacturer’s technical specifications. In other words: does the instrument measure what it is supposed to measure, and can it perform its task correctly?
Inspection generally refers to checking the basic functions of an instrument.
Verification applies when measurements are carried out on compatible measuring instruments that fall under the Metrology Act. In other words: does the measuring instrument comply with the requirements set by the Metrology Act?
Can I have my instrument calibrated at CIJ Borculo?
