What do we inspect

We perform control measurements on almost all types of metering installations, including:

  • Indirect metering installations for large consumers

  • Directly connected electricity meters (for example in homes or small businesses)

  • Complete metering installations

Legal requirement for large consumers

According to the Electricity Metering Code, electricity meters including the metering installation must be inspected every six years to ensure measurement accuracy.

CIJ Borculo has been carrying out these inspections for many years on behalf of certified metering companies.
